Canned Goat Milk

Full Fat Buttermilk
- Available at Walmart for $3.98 per half gallon
One Gallon Jug with Top Spout
- Available at Walmart for $14.47
Baking Soda
- Available at Walmart for $0.78 for a 1lb box
- Add one pinch of Baking Soda to their second bottle of the day until weaned
Ammonium Chloride
- Available at Jeffers Vet Supply for $16
- This is ONLY for bucklings - NOT doelings!!
- We will provide this, you do NOT need to buy it unless you run out
- Add one pinch of Ammonium Chloride to their first bottle of the day until weaned

Step 1:
Pour one can of goat milk into the one gallon jug
Step 2:
Pour one cup of full fat buttermilk into the one gallon jug
Step 3:
Pour whole milk into the one gallon jug until full

Week 2 - Week 4
- Four times a day
- Must be fed every fours, but can go 12 hours overnight
- Example: Bottle feed at 6:30am, 10:30am, 2:30pm and 6:30pm
Week 5 - Week 6
- Three times a day
- Example: Bottle feed at 6:30am, 12:30pm and 6:30pm
Week 7 - Week 9
- Two times a day
- Example: Bottle feed at 6:30am and 6:30pm
Week 10 - Week 12
- One time a day
- Example: Bottle feed at 6:30am
Goats MUST be bottle fed for at least 10 weeks. Do NOT wean before the 10 week mark.

Follow the instructions on the chart shown when bottle feeding baby goats. It is important to NEVER feed more than 20% of your goats weight in ounces of milk in one day.

- Bucklings MUST have the one with ammonium chloride in it. You will see "ammonium chloride" written on the front of the bag, near the bottom. It is safe for doelings to eat.

- Only feed loose minerals, NEVER a mineral block
- Leave out free choice, meaning always keep fresh minerals in their wall feeder - they will eat it when they need it
